If you’re a beginner and just starting out then 2-4 times per week will be enough to see results and allow you to adjust.
You’ll be sore some days, so allow yourself recovery days between training sessions at first – over the course of the following months work up towards 5 days per week if you want to maximize! Sign up today!

I began my Yoga teacher training in Torrington, Ct at Sanctuary Power Yoga back in 2012, but completed
it with Matt Giordano at Akasa in 2020 with 200 hour yoga teacher training certification. I started teaching on line immediately with Akasa and began in person at CrossFit Reload (Fitness Yoga) in Spring and in Summer at Akasa when studios and gyms reopened.
I reside in Plymouth with my Husband, Neil and I have two grown children Alexa and Morgan that share
in my passion for health and fitness. Exercise and fitness started at a very young age for me. I’ve always
made time for it in my life. I also enjoy motorcycle riding, paddle boarding, kayaking and hiking. Yoga
came to me about 20 years ago and as I’ve matured became my passion and saving grace. It has always
made me feel good no matter what state of mind I was in.
My Yoga styles is mostly Vinyasa Flow along with Power Toning and Fitness. Emphasis is on holding and
decomposing the poses, stretching the body along with moving with breath. Great for the body, mind
and always a great workout.

Coach Emma is the latest edition to the coaching staff at CrossFit Reload and an amazing athlete prior to even setting foot in a CrossFit Box. Prior to graduating from SUNY – Plattsburgh, she helped lead their women’s ice hockey team to the 2019 Division III National Championship as a defenseman for the Cardinals. After trying CrossFit in 2016 with her older sister, Coach Emma found the workouts to be an excellent conditioning tool in the off-season. Since graduating, she has taken her fitness to the next level with her ability to quickly grasp many CrossFit movements. Coaching was the obvious, next step to share her knowledge, and enthusiasm for everyone in the gym. Her work ethic is infectious. Be sure to stop in for one of her classes.

Coach
Coach Lisa is the most humble of the bunch but also one of the best CrossFit athletes in the region, although she’ll never admit it. She has qualified for the CrossFit Games regional level with a team as well as several years of Online Qualifiers. Lisa has a long history of athletic achievement including playing Division 1 Soccer, and is now coaching High School Soccer on top of her own CrossFit training.
From air squats and pushups to bar muscle-ups and hand-stand walks, there isn’t a single movement Coach Lisa can’t do. In class, she is very unassuming and goes out of her way to assist everyone in the box. You’ll often see her inconspicuously identifying a member’s talents and helping them bring that skill to the next level. When you are in one of her classes, there is always something to learn form her. Come find out for yourself!

Coach
Coach Nate is CrossFit L1 certified and is the rookie on the staff at Reload Athletics but has been an active member of the CrossFit Reload community for well over 5 years. Although he doesn’t have the lengthy tenure, experience, and numerous certifications of some coaches, Coach Nate more than makes up for it with his energy and enthusiasm. It’s his goal to have every member get the most out of their workout each and every time they show up to the box. As some members have stated, “there’s no hiding from Coach Nate during class” and that couldn’t be more true. You will often hear him exclaim, “I’ll guarantee you’ll get your money’s worth when you come to my class!” No matter how tired and
exhausted you are during the workout, Coach Nate will push you to get that extra rep. Be sure to keep an eye on him in class, he’s been known to add weight to members’ bars when they aren’t looking to push everyone a little harder.

Coach Chrissy is the previous owner of CrossFit Reload and is the definition of OG CrossFitter and CrossFit Coach. She has been participating and coaching CrossFit for over 10 years and has attained numerous CrossFit certifications over the years. Coach Chrissy has been around since the beginning of CrossFit, long before it became a global phenomenon. If you ever needed a history lesson regarding the evolution of CrossFit, she is the one to go to. No matter how much experience or inexperience you have in CrossFit, Coach Chrissy has an adept method of giving cues for all to get the most out of their movements or lifts. If you come to her class, be prepared to work hard!

Head Coach
Coach Gina is our Head Coach at Reload Athletics and is also in charge of our nutrition program. She holds certifications in CrossFit L1, USAW L1, Precision Nutrition L1 with a specialty in sleep stress and recovery. Although an avid powerlifter that excels at all lifts, don’t sleep on her CrossFit and gymnastics skillset. Coach Gina can double-under like nobody’s business and only stops when she gets bored. She also teaches specific skill classes that have led to beginners as well seasoned members in accomplishing their goals of pull-ups, toes-to-bar, rope climbs, muscle-ups, and improving various power lifts (of course). Since taking over as head coach, Coach Gina has imparted her knowledge on the entire Reload community with amazing results that have
followed.

Owner/Head Coach
Dr. Stephanie Genest Graduated from MCPHS University in 2016 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She immediately began practicing in an Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic, but always wanted to do more with her degree. In 2018 she opened Elevation Performance and Therapy where she was able to focus on primarily treating and working with CrossFitters and Olympic Weightlifters. She has always had a love for athletics and fitness and a desire to impart her knowledge on as many people as possible.
In 2021 she became the owner of Reload Athletics formerly CrossFit Reload. “It is my goal to reach as many people as possible and show them that fitness can be fun and effective, no matter your starting place CrossFit can be right for you. I strive every week to keep all of our members healthy, happy and injury free. You will find there is so much more to a membership here at Reload Athletics then just punching the card or checking off the box that you went to the gym. It truly is a loving community here that supports each and every member.”
